    Hello! Welcome back for another wonderful year. My  name is Mrs. Vanessa Boyle. I LOVE teaching at West Penn Elementary School. I have been a teacher here since 2008. Prior to teaching at Tamaqua School District, I also taught at Panther Valley. I've taught 8th Grade, 1st Grade, 4th Grade, and 2nd Grade. I have been a liaison teacher at West Penn since 2009. 
     
    I have my undergraduate from Lock Haven University. I obtained my Master's Degree in Technology from Wilkes University. I am currently finishing my Administrative Certification through Immaculata University. 
     
     
    Aside from teaching, I am a mom of two boys- Brody and Cooper. Brody also attends West Penn and is a 6th Grader this year. Cooper will be 5 soon. I've been married since 2008 to my husband, John. 
     
    When I am not wearing the hat of a teacher or mom, I also sell Pampered Chef. I love cooking and of course shopping. Some of my favorites are coffee, clothing, and chocolate.  I guess I also love fun bright colored pens and smelly stickers. The kids always love the smelly stickers too!
     
    I love to be energetic and engaging for the students. I am sure you will hear some silly stories, but just remember, I hear them from home too. I look forward to a wonderful year. It is with great pleasure that I get to partner with you and your child for a successful year.
