Mrs. Evans

I'm Nicole Evans and this will be my third year teaching at the Middle School. This will be my 14th year teaching. I started my career at St. Joseph Regional Academy, in Jim Thorpe for a year, where I taught computer science and physical education, then ended the year filling in teaching 5th Grade. I then taught 4th grade at West Penn Elementary for 11 wonderful years.
 
I was born and raised in Tamaqua. I graduated from Tamaqua in 2004. After high school, I went to King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education in 2008. I finished my Master's Degree from Wilkes University in the summer of 2016.
 
In October 2008, I had a beautiful little girl, Molly. She is 15 years old and a sophomore in high school this year. I also have a son, Mason, who is 13, in 8th this year, and finally, there's Morgan, who is 10 years old and in 5th grade. I'm married to Zachery Evans, also from Tamaqua. He teaches 1st grade at Tamaqua Elementary.
 
I'm looking forward to another wonderful school year teaching 6th grade language arts!
